Surf
WSL Quiksilver & Roxy Open & Boarmasters Longboard Pro – Fistral
Surf takes centre stage at Fistral in Newquay, Cornwall after the Boardmasters music festival was cancelled due to extreme weather warnings in the county. The comp takes place from 7-11 August. Weather conditions in Cornwall are affecting schedules as we post this so check the WSL website for updates.

Music
Jeremie Albino – Hard Time
Hard Time is Jeremie Albino’s debut album and comes with the blues swagger of the Black Keys to a more accessible audience with songs anybody could get up and dance to. The record is peppered with nostalgia and some sensitive moments too.
Travel
Tea Tree Bay, Noosa
Noosa National Park is stunning in its own right but as you walk along the coastline there are many gems along the way to stop off at, including Tea Tree Bay. I took this photo at Christmas time 2016 and I’m desperate to get back to Noosa Heads one day and explore further.

Live
Boardmasters Cancellation Parties
While I don’t think Ghostface Killah, Louis Capaldi, Foals and the like will be popping up in the Red Lion on Tower Road in Newquay, there are now Boardmasters cancellation parties being announced all over town. If you are one of the disappointed many – keep an eye open on your socials for late notice events.
