Side Notes | 20th August 2021

Side Notes is a weekly round up of everything and anything that catches our short attention span over the past week, coming to you live and direct every Friday.

Teahupo'o Goes Psycho

Nathan Florence rocks up to Tahiti just in time for the biggest swell to hit since Code Red in 2011. The ensuing carnage and absolute skull-crushing caverns on display make for some incredible watching from the safe confines of our chairs. The raw footage alone is insane.

Queens of the Stone Age - Go with the Flow (Live at Reading 2008)

Probably the best live performance of this song; the slow-burning build up, the energy simmering before exploding and somehow almost overshadowed by the fact that Rage Against the Machine followed a perfect setlist from Josh and the gang.

UMA Landsleds' "Punch a Hole in the Sky"

Bombs, bowls and bails. Solid lines, arrests and a killer soundtrack. This might just be the best debut feature since well, ever. And to top it all off, the ender from Evan; Trick of the Year, in the bag.
