Side Notes | 16th April 2021

Side Notes is a weekly round up of everything and anything that catches our short attention span over the past week, coming to you live and direct every Friday.

Sonic Souvenirs

Mikey February takes us on a journey up and down the east and west coast of Africa in Vans Sonic Souvenirs. Episode One sees Mikey showcasing South Africa and the music, art and surfing it offers. Shot by Kai Neville and of course surfed by Mikey, this is a series to watch.

The Rolling Stones - Shine a Light

Exile on Main Street, the tenth studio album from the Stones, saw them all as outlaws, exiled from England after spending all the money owed for taxes. The album went on to be one of their finest and cemented themselves as being much better than The Beatles.

Punta del Diablo, Uruguay

Jack O'Grady's 'Pass~Port' Part

Sydney gets razed to the ground as Jack O'Grady lays siege to the city in his part of Pass~Port. Jaw-dropping gaps, hill bombs and lines that Tony Montana himself would be impressed by, this is worth the watch.
