Join Our Team This Movember!

It’s true, we are starting a Movember team!

Movember has become one of the leading charities in men’s health, although cancer and suicide affect all genders in life, Movember focuses on issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at

The goal of Movember is simple; “change the face of men's health." The charity encourages men to get checked on common cancers and mental illness to reduce the number of preventable deaths. The moustache is the symbol of the charity and to spread more awareness for men with a family history of cancer and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The Movember Foundation has raised $837 million and funded over 1,200 projects in over 20 countries. Created in 2004 by Adam Garone, Travis Garone, Luke Slattery, and Justin Coughlin, the group from Melbourne created Movember to bring back the moustache. In 2005, nearly 500 people took part and raised $40,000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. Over the years the charity has continued to grow into the world recognised event we know and love taking over November each year.

The instructions are simple, first, you must register at which takes roughly 2 minutes. At the start of November, you must clean shave and let the furry beast inside your top lip grow! Throughout the month you can post picture updates and share links for those wanting to donate to a worthy cause.

Join our Movember team!

We encourage all genders in life to join our team and get involved, let's be part of a community and have a laugh as a collective of top lipped slingers. Every donation makes a difference, big or small, and we will place all donors into a raffle for a chance to win a Part Wild t-shirt. If you make a donation, include your name and email in the message section of your donation, so we can contact you should you win!

Aside from the growing of beautiful moustaches, we will also participate in the ‘move’ side of the charity. Throughout November we will run 60km or more and posting our results via apps such as Strava, Fitbit, and Garmin to ensure we are not cheating. We cover a lot of health and wellness in our content and enjoy a good run or two, so it would only seem fitting to go the extra mile this November.

We can’t wait to have you on our team and show us your filthy dirty moustache. You will find all the links below on how to join our team or donate. We encourage those joining our team to keep us up to date with process photos etc. and have a good old chat about how we are all doing. Your health and wellbeing is important!
